It is common for rides to break down at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure since so many visitors board each ride each day. Problems are typically fixed in a matter of minutes. But on occasion, Guests need to be ejected.
Many Disney Parks lovers have the desire of visiting backstage areas, but this week, for several Disneyland Resort Visitors, it rapidly turned into a nightmare. Before Cast Members arrived to save them, dozens of Visitors were stranded on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in New Orleans Square for two hours. On TikTok, the experience was documented by @eat.sleep.positivity:
In the video, a Cast Member paddles through the water to push the boats to a platform, where Disney Security Cast Members assist in removing the visibly relieved passengers. The Visitors didn’t mention receiving Lightning Lanes or any other kind of payment for their time.
It appears that no one was hurt during this evacuation, which is a relief. At the time this story was published, Pirates of the Caribbean had resumed its regular schedule.
